A Different, But Still Good, Sabaa Tahir
All My Rage is Sabaa Tahir's first book after her amazing Ember in the Ashes quartet, which I absolutely loved. This is a contemporary book, rather than a fantasy.
In the first look, we meet a few people. We first meet Misbah in the past, as she finds out her parents have arranged a marriage for her. Then we meet Sal, a teenager with a drunk dad and a sick mother, living in a small California town. Noor is an ex-friend of Sal's who goes to his same high school.
The writing is great, just like An Ember in the Ashes was, but the story is contemporary and features characters of Pakastani descent. It looks like the rest of the book would be great too!
