I thought the cover was great--I love historical photographs, so this definitely caught my eye. The writing is smooth and easy to read as well, but it's just not something I'd be interested in reading in its entirety--I'm extremely selective when it comes to memoirs. And maybe that's not even what this is? The title seems to imply so, but it also reads like it's her dad's story. Either way, I'm going to pass.
