I cannot imagine what Ralph's life must have been like to be closeted for so long. I love the way Laura writes about her father and even though he couldn't be his true self, he really seemed like an amazing father and husband. Laura's parents seem to have had an incredible bond. I would love to know the rest of the story. How her mother found out, and how Ralph was able to live his life when he was able to fully come out.
