What stands out to me the most is the cover of this--the bright colors of the rainbow sign against the black & white background. I'm all for highlighting queer stories, but I have somewhat mixed feelings about people writing memoirs about having queer families. Sometimes these lean towards centering the cishet family members more than the actual queer experiences. I'm not sure I'll pick this one up myself, but I will certainly look forward to hearing what others think.
