This is such a good book! It certainly delivered on the Gossip Girl meets Get Out comps!

The concept: When two black teens become the target of an anonymous texter, they have to work together to bring them down.

As always, I love when we have (Two!) black leads! I liked both Chimaka and Devon as main characters a lot.

With that in mind, I really enjoyed how this book addressed some heavier topics (such as racism, elitism, class, privilege, homophobia, and white supremacy). These are all important topics, and I'm glad the author discussed them without taking away from the intrigue of the story!

I'm not a huge thriller reader, so a lot of the twits really did surprise me and I thought they were well done!

I do think the pacing could have been a bit faster in the middle, and the ending did feel a tad rushed. But I still enjoyed the story regardless, and look forward to more of this author's works in the future!
