The premise of this novel is very reminiscent of Gossip Girl, but I love that the author puts her own twist on it! An anonymous person named "Aces" starts sending text messages to all of Niveus Private Academy, an elite high school. This turns the lives of students Devon Richards and Chiamaka Adebayo upside down and even threatens their futures. Who is "Aces" and why are they doing this? These are the questions that need to be answered throughout this novel.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I am in awe that this was the author's debut novel! I had a lot of fun making up theories as to who "Aces" was and guessing what would happen next (or at least trying to!). I think that this is a great book for fans of thrillers/suspense, as it has just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. All I can say is - incredible!
