I had planned to set aside my entire Labor Day weekend to read ACE OF SPADES, but then sat down to read it on Friday night and couldn't put it down. I was completely enthralled by this five-star read.
The less you know about this book going in, the better. If you’re wondering if it lives up to the hype, it absolutely does. I’m so happy I kicked off the #YouBetYA2021 readathon with this one!
I had a fairly good idea of what the underlying plot would be based on the stories other folx have compared it to (again, the less you know the better!), but even still, ACE OF SPADES kept me on the edge of my seat. It reminded me a lot of one of my other favorite thrillers, WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING, and so fans of that one are sure to enjoy this one. Compelling, perfectly-paced, and thought-provoking, ACE OF SPADES is a must-read for thriller and young adult fans.
