*received for free from netgalley for honest review* Woah!!!! i LOVED this book! like i thought it would be good in the first place and immediately i was hooked, like before the end of the first chapter i swear! Can't even come up with the words that could describe how awesome i thought this book was! a need to own for sure and will be recommending to tons of people!
This is a longer book but so worth it, i did get an idea of where it was going but not in a boring, drag you along kind of way some books can do trying to be longer or trying to ad more mystery which often just gets annoying but not this book!
There was so much going on with the story, the ace of spades, the wild racist history, BOTH main characters are gay/bi AND Black!!! it's so awesome to read young adult books that actually talk about these subjects and even more so when they are also written by Black or POC authors.
