The two characters are interesting and distinct after just a few short chapters! Chiamaka is refreshingly self-aware for a "mean girl," and I love how she clearly is playing a part to achieve her goals. Devon is playing a part as well, but more out of necessity than scheming. I tend to read a few YA books, but this one might fall just a little young for me. However, I'm intrigued!
