I’m always drawn toward the private, prep or high school setting. Add a dash of the thrilling dark academia and I’m basically sold. The cover catches the eye instantly. Based off the synopsis and brief excerpt I’d also say fitting for the storyline. I appreciate a well thought out character driven novel and will be looking forward to seeing Chiamaka and Devon in more depth as they grow and the climaxes of the plot deepen. I am thoroughly intrigued and can’t wait to see if this sets the bar for thrillers in this genre.
