Just from the title of Part One, The Ivory Tower, I knew that Ace of Spades would blow me away. Devon, one of the main characters, attends Niveus Academy. Recently, Headmaster Collins resigned, so now there is someone new leading the school. Devon Richards is called as one of the new senior prefects, and he is surprised. Head Prefect is Chiamaka Adebayo, who the Devon sees as the protagonist. At the end of the month will be the Senior Snowflake Charity Ball. Devon is aiming to get into Juilliard and Chiamaka is aiming to get into Yale. This excerpt left off on a cliffhanger, and I hope Devon is ok and has people who are there for him.
