Thank you @bookishfirst and @kensingtonbooks for an ARC of A Tangled Web by Leslie Rule. This is a true story of a twisted crime that seems so unreal. In 2012, Cari Farver, vanishes in Nebraska. The devoted mother, employee, and friend, seemingly dumps her boyfriend, quits her job, and starts "stalking" her ex and his girlfriends....all through text. Her ex believes she is stalking and harassing him and his on-off girlfriend "Liz" over the next several years...but all is not what it seems. Without giving too much away about this, this book was amazing. I could not put it down and I was so invested in the story. Several times I almost googled the case because I needed to know more about the it; immediately watching the dateline episode of it after I read this. A tangled web is what this truly is, with layer upon layer of twisted strings weaved together. This book comes out tomorrow! Wonderfully written, Cari's story needs to be told.
