It seems unbelievable that this is a true story. I hadn’t heard of the story of Cari Lea Farver before reading this book so I didn’t have any knowledge beyond the synopsis. This story is filled with deception, obsession and murder. When Cari disappears one November day her family is worried about he and her boyfriend becomes worried because of her stalking behavior. The police are receiving complaints from him and concerned calls from Cari’s mother but in both cases they have very little information to go on. This story quickly goes from strange to truly bizarre. Leslie Rule pulled me in from the beginning with her detailed storytelling that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down.
