I was absolutely entangled in this story by the end it was so interesting! I picked this book because the synopsis reminded me of the book "The Hate you Give" which is one of my favorite. This book totally exceeded my expectations, the plot was so detailed and thorough I just couldn't get enough of this book! I loved how all the characters developed and how complex each of their personality was all throughout the book. This book is being published at just the right time with all that is going on in our crazy world in America. I think this book checks all the boxes when it comes to books focusing on racial justice and the author does it flawlessly. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this book just that everything about it was so perfect. I have been telling all of my reading friends that they HAVE to pick this book up once it published!
