I was sucked in to this book by the first few chapters—Yolanda’s character is really well written and complex, especially her inner conflict between working for the FBI and her growing respect for the members Red, Black, GREEN! Overall my favorite parts of the book were the flashbacks of Yolanda and her mother because they really deepened my understanding of her character and why she feels the need to be so absolutely self sufficient and stay with the Bureau on the case as long as she does. However, there are some plot holes/things that were rushed at the end that left me confused. How was RBG ever designated as a threat to national security over a few protests against a defense contractor? I also did not understand who was trying to assassinate Yolanda and why even after re-reading the last few chapters and the motive of the killer was weak at best.
