I love a strong heroine lead story especially in thrillers but I am not really feeling this one. I am not a big reader on books heavy in the "social justice" department. I am all for it and fighting for what's right but, I don't know, being a minority myself, there were just some things lacking while the tone was just a little much. I'll give it try, it may change my mind. The writing is great and this would be a first reading this author.
