Not only is the cover art gorgeous, this book is a breath of fresh air. I've been reading a lot of books with a woman of color as the protagonist written by women of color. It's great representation. This book isn't just one genre, it's a few. The premise is intriguing while throwing in real life topics like racism, poverty lines and feminism.
