Loved the epigraph and the cover. Yolanda is relatable (who doesn't want to be a lawyer with killer witness interviews) and fierce. Though I found one of the metaphors a little out of place (did she really need to grab the office papers like a former basketball player?), overall, it's a strong opening that's just the right mix of helping us understand Yolanda's character while also getting ready for what sounds like an exciting, fast moving plot. Can't wait to read it!
