I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a mix of mystery, Christian romance, and historical fiction. It very much reminded me of Denise Weimer's Restoration Trilogy. Millie was very funny and reminded me of myself - awkward, romantically challenged, and a bookworm. I admired her determination to do everything she could to do the best for her grandmother. I also enjoyed Ben's determination to make things right for his mother's victims. I found it interesting that Millie and Ben's lives were so connected when they did not know each other. I loved the ending, not so much when Millie discovered Ben's connection to her grandmother, but after when she forgives him. I also love a book where the characters utilize their library and librarian!
