A Sparkle of Silver by Liz Johnson does not disappoint. The story begins with scenes that are so intriguing and descriptive that you instantly get caught up. I wanted to keep reading until I fell asleep. The characters and the story were very believable and endearing as always. The author develops each character well enough that we feel we know them and easily become attached as if they were old friends. Without giving too much away I did feel the story got a bit wordy and that is why I gave it the 4 star review instead of a full 5. The ending was extremely well crafted and tied everything together so nicely. I found myself thinking about the main characters long after the last page was turned.
