This is one of those books that has stayed with me and long after I've put it down I'm still thinking about it. It is most definitely what I would call a romantic mystery. Millie is forced to find her grandmother a new nursing home to live in once she can't make ends meet easily. She doesn't know how she will come up with the money but that's when her grandma leads her to the start of a great mystery. I found the book fascinating. I loved the heroine and hero in the book. The added touches of family, the estate, and diary remind me of the familial home in Mississippi that my family has. I can't wait to see what other novels come about since this was titled as being the introductory into the series.
