This was such a good book to read. I loved the characters and how easy they were to connect with, and I also enjoyed the plot. It was perfectly executed and kept me intrigued throughout the whole novel. I would consider this a romantic mystery and the mystery aspect was just enough to keep me wondering. The romantic aspect was nice and wasn't too over the top at all. The one thing I really did like was the two different time periods this book takes place in. I felt as if it gave the overall story a leg up and helped the readers really connect with this story as a whole.
This was my first read by this author and I'm pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to read more from this author and the rest of this specific series.
