The excerpt from this book starts out with some sad parts- Camilla finding out that the nursing home she has her grandmother in is no longer going to provide care for her as her memory further declines- but her grandmother offers a lucid nugget of hope that there might be more to their family history than Camilla knows, and it might be the key to their survival. Definitely an intriguing start!
