This is a well-written intro with beautiful imagery, and yet I find myself without the urge to read on. I think this is a case of it's me, not you, as I've just read so many YA fantasy books that it takes a LOT for one to impress me. I think a lot of people will end up loving this book, and if it has really good ratings I'd consider reading it!
