I was a big fan of Children of Blood and Bone when it came out (and still dying to read the second book!j. I haven’t read anything quite like it since, but this one sounds like it’s right up that alley! On top of that, there’s a little bit of fey mixed in with the usual magic, so I don’t see how this could go wrong!
