Oh my, everything about this first look enticed me. From the beautiful cover to its amazing contents. First I'd like to start with how much I loved the message being sent by a raven and the interesting take on using messenger birds. I never thought of them knowing their destination being an enchantment, it's brilliant! The mysterious woman definitely caught my attention and I am looking forward to how she fits into the story. The language throughout the 50+ pages flowed intricately with excellent descriptive language. I felt like I was there with Eva experiencing and feeling what she did. The chatara was the most enticing part of the entire first look and I'd love to experience it first hand. As for the magick within this novel I love the refreshing take on classes and different abilities and how each person is treated. I'm left wondering what caused the hatred and tension between Isa and Eva. Not to mention the nail biting cliffhanger it ended on. This entire first look was brilliant and I can not wait to read the full thing.
