Wow, Celadon Books really knows how to pick good authors! MT Edvardsson wrote an unputdownable mystery that had me guessing until the end.
๐I liked the format of the book. Itโs divided into 3 chunks, the dad, The daughter and the mom. So the readers gets 3 different voices telling the story, going between past and present. It worked for me.
๐I liked the fact that I thought I knew what happened but wasnโt sure how exactly it went down. I got questions answered as I read but more questions then popped into my head. It was a compelling story because you have a murder and a suspect...or two...or three!
๐ The epilogue was much needed, in my opinion! The last chapter leaves you wondering but the epilogue really ties everything up for the reader.
๐ซ The author did a good job keeping the court scenes fairly simple, however this book does take place in Sweden. I am not familiar with the Swedish justice system so I was a bit confused at times with the terminology of the court. Thatโs a minor issue, though!!
