Very much enjoyed
Thanks to the publisher for my gifted review copy. Let me start by saying that I wouldn’t consider this a thriller- this is a slower burn, the story (and the truth) unfolding little by little. I’d say it’s more a domestic drama/domestic fiction. However, it’s split into 3 parts - the father’s, daughter’s and mother’s POV, which I really loved and thought worked so well for the story. The father’s POV is first and honestly I found it a little slow BUT it’s totally necessary to set the scene and understand his mindset. My favorite section was the daughter’s & I honestly liked how it all wrapped up. For me, this one really worked. I think this would make for a great book club discussion - lots of questions to consider, especially as a parent. I’d definitely check this one out!
