I loved this book. Period.
18 year old Stella is in jail for murder. Her parents will do everything they can to show that she is innocent.

The story is told through three different people's perspectives, one at a time. It's always interesting (even in real life) to see how people's memories differ from one another, and how on person's perception of an event or situation is drastically different from the perspective of another person. I thought this author did a fantastic job of capturing the three completely different personalities and their perspectives and memories of events.

I could never quite decide whether I liked and supported any of the characters completely, but at the same time, I wanted them to succeed and find happiness with each other. Each character was well-written and believable and human - which is exactly why I couldn't make up my mind how I felt about any of them: they're flawed, they're human, they made mistakes. It's easy to love a book when you instantly love the characters, it's another thing to love a book where you're not really sure how you feel about them.

This is absolutely worth reading.
