When I think of legal/courtroom drama I think of a novel that would most likely bore me. Even though this book was marketed as that I think it was more of a fantastic "thriller". I enjoyed all three pov's and each one added more suspense and pieces of the puzzle. For me, all the characters had quite a few unlikable moments. Stella was a stubborn teenager, her dad was frustratingly paranoid, Amira seemed like she was playing a role of goodie two shoes, and Stellas mom was absent. I didn't like them but I did care about the family dynamic as a whole. I didn't want to see Stella go down the road she did and I was quite happy with the ending. The twist was a bit confusing for about 50 pages until it was fully explained in the last pov. I enjoyed this one and I would recommend it.
