This book engrossed me from the beginning. I loved that it was told from 3 different perspectives in chunks and not going back and forth. I questioned what actually happened for most of the book. It really made you think what does happen behind closed doors in a family. And how far would you go to protect your family. It also shows how different each person really feels about the same event. It’s amazing how your viewpoints can be so skewed.
This book has also made me want to read more Swedish thrillers. The writing style is engaging and not full of too many superfluous details. I loved the slow building to the final chapter when you really knew what happened. I hope this author has more novels published in the US.
