This book was fantastic! This is a perfect example of what any good thriller should do...keep you engrossed and guessing right up until (literally) the last page. The author does a brilliant job of exploring the interesting dynamics and twisted psyches of mother, daughter, and father by splitting the narrative into three wildly different yet equally interesting sections. My favorite narrator was by far the daughter, but beginning the book with the Father’s slight descent into madness was an interesting choice. The book was fast-paced throughout, and never got too bogged down with little details. A great beach read, but also an interesting case study on a “nearly normal” family. I would happily read anything else this author comes out with in terms of thrillers and will highly recommend this one!
