This book was a very interesting read for me. I really enjoyed elements of it. There was a fantastic mother-daughter relationship in the book that makes you wonder how far a mother really would go for her child. Stella was an interesting character and you wonder through the whole novel if she is innocent or not. You find out like literally at the end of the book. There is a lot of twists and turns in this book. It's always interesting to me when characters have their morals questions by the ones they love.
I got this as my June Book of the Month in 2019 and read it pretty quickly. There's several characters that you have to keep your eye on that you wouldn't think at first they're important.
