This book was being praised all over #bookstagram, so when I saw it as a choice for June's Book of the Month, I knew I had to snag it!
The book is three parts -- the father, the daughter, and the mother -- telling their part of the story of a murder that Stella, the daughter, is accused of committing. There are tons of family secrets that all bubble up to the surface and there were lots of twists and turns that kept me compulsively turning the page. I didn't know who committed the murder, and my mind kept changing the whole time. I love books that are unpredictable & keep you guessing - and this is definitely one that will keep you on your toes.
The book was originally written in Swedish and it takes place there. I don't know much about Sweden, so my lack of knowledge about the setting kept me from giving it 5 stars.
