Wow! This book absolutely blew me away. I read the first 40 pages or so during the first look, but I still didn't have a full sense of what I was getting myself into. I thought it would be a fairly interesting because I love a good murder mystery story; however, this story was so much more than I could have ever imagined. It had twists and turns and then more twists and turns. While the book started with the father's point of view, I had no idea that it would end up being the least interesting part to me. I was so thrilled by his narration of the story, and I had no idea that it could get even better than that!

I thought the story line itself was flawless. I was waiting for a moment I could pick it apart or figure out the ending before I was told, but I was so invested and bewildered the entire time. I love how the author gave each family member a perspective. I was concerned that hearing about the same story line three times from different perspectives was going to bore me, but it absolutely did not. This book was engaging and splendidly written!
