I love novels that are centered around family drama and this one did not disappoint! I thought the family dynamics were really well done. The mystery surrounding the daughters guilt or innocence really held my interest.

Stella is accused of murdering a man. Her father is a pastor and her mother is a defense attorney. As you can imagine, they have a hard time wrapping their heads around their daughter being accused of murder.

I really enjoyed that the book was told from Stella, her mom, and her dad’s point of view. It kept the story moving and I couldn’t wait to get it the next perspective to find out more.

I thought the story was thought out well and ending in a way that made me feel satisfied.
