I was enthralled by this legal thriller! This was one of those books I wanted to race through because I was absorbed in the story, it flowed so well, and I needed to find out what was happening!

One of the things I especially liked about A Nearly Normal Family was the way it was divided into three parts, with each part told from the first person perspective of a different character. Part one was narrated by the father, part two was narrated by the daughter, and part three was narrated by the mother. Each narrator had a distinct voice and a different perspective and twist to the story, which made it fascinating to read and fit pieces together. There was also a short prologue and epilogue. The fact that the father was a pastor and the mother was a lawyer added extra layers of interest.

Another thing I really enjoyed was that although this is considered a legal thriller, the majority of the story takes place outside of a courtroom. I liked that there was not a lot of technical details to wade through or sort out. The courtroom scenes were suspenseful and moved quickly.

I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys legal thrillers and stories about families and people who aren't always what they appear on the surface.
