This book is about a family who one day their life is turned upside down. Stella is the free spirt daughter who is being accused of murder. There is so much drama to unfold and this story follows the court precedings till the end. The book was split into the Father’s point of view and Stella’s and then her mother’s.
I don’t really have much to say about this one. It was not as good as I was hoping it to be. I feel like maybe it would have been better from only Stella’s and her mother’s pov and back and forth instead of parts.
I would not classify this as a thriller at all. It could be a court room drama/legal drama/family drama. There was aspects of marriage and family that were heavy but at no point did I feel a thrill.
