I am not a huge fan of legal thrillers. There is something about a book taking place in a court room that I do not like and it really surprised me that I liked this so much, especially because it is translated. I think this is one of the best thrillers I have read. The beginning starts with the father's point of view and it is very matter of fact. The the daughter who is involved begins to tell her part of the story. The last part of the book is in the mothers point of view. Each part is told with a completely different voice. I've heard that people get bored in the first part because the dad's point of view is so boring, but it is completely necessary to lay the ground work for the rest of the story. I also love that you do not find out what actually happened until the last sentence of the book. Read this one!
