I was hooked by the prologue and first chapter of this book. I like the way the author arranges the timeline of this novel. It starts with the outcoming in reality, and the 9 followed chapters concentrate on the process in the past. The story flows quite well, although some paragraphs concentrate too much on the father's daily activities.

A family story told by the view of Adam, the father, strongly affects the readers' emotions, We can put ourselves in parents' perspectives to feel love and the worry for other family members, especially for the 18-year-old child.

Simple writing style with thrilling chapters makes this book very interesting to read. I hope to read the rest of this novel in the near future.
