A slow burn legal thriller with a twist that I did not see coming. An eighteen-year-old girl accused of murdering a man twice her age. Her parents, a pastor and a criminal defense attorney finding out just how far they will go to protect their daughter. This book is told from three different points of view, and they are unusually divided into three separate parts. I found it captivated, and my inability to guess the ended had me on the edge of my seat, trying to guess where this novel would take me.

My main complaint about this book is that the translation (it has been translated to English) seems to be a bit choppy and I think that a bit of this book may have been lost in translation. Overall, I would give this book 4-4.5 stars and recommend it to anyone that enjoys thrillers.
