I finally decided to read this book after getting it from book of the month back in June 2019, lol I am so darn late but better late than never.

The one thing that I loved about this book is that it was divided into three sections, and each of the sections sort of contradict each other because they are told in the voices of Adam the dad and he’s a pastor, Ulrika the mom and she’s a defense attorney and also Stella their teenage rebellious daughter.

Pretty much, Stella is in jail for the murder of a man that later on we end up finding out she was dating unofficially, and he was 15 years older than she is. How’s Stella met Chris was a little off to me, even her friendship with Amina and Ulrikas involvement in all of this is so off. Maybe it’s because it’s in a different country and they have their own laws, I guess that was why I couldn’t really connect with what was really going on. But this book has three different point of views and none of them make each other look good.

Everyone in this book had secrets, and it kept getting better and better especially when it was Stellas then and then Ulrikas. Even though it was a little bit hard for me to connect with ahh of the characters, I loved the mystery aspect of it. And who the real killer was, or whatever the heck happened in the end of the book, lol.
