I love reading legal thrillers, and I think this is going to be a really good one based on the excerpt! Plus, I’d love to read about the Swedish criminal court system. I’ve never read a fiction book about a trial there. I’m sure we will get more of the story (and more questions than answers) once the point-of-view switches to the mother. I doubt it is a coincidence that the person murdered is the son of a well-known law professor and the mother is a criminal defense attorney. I’m also guessing we can’t trust that the dad is a completely reliable narrator just because he’s a pastor. I really hope I get the opportunity to read this one because I’d love to know how it all turns out!
