This book is a defining work of the genre, it is an absolutely delightful read! I'm not a huge fan of tea, but this book makes me want to become a tea person. The world is arich and nuanced, the characters are realistic and relatable, and their relationships and intrigues are spectacular. The main character's love for her family is a centeal pillar of the book that helps ground it and lets readers see themselves through her. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, a d I didn't want to put it down until I had read every last page! The magic of the story was in the breathtaking and unique world the author provided, I would be extremely interested to read more in this universe, but I am also very satisfied with the ending. I was very hapoy with the book as a whole. And I'd very much recommend this book to anyone looking for a magical and engaging read!
