After reading the first look of this novel, I have to say that it does indeed sound like an intriguing story! I immediately connected with the main character Ning, as she is very likeable and well described in the novel. I love the time the author took to build the world the story takes place in, and so many beautiful details are added that it makes the characters and story feel so alive. The plot of the story is very interesting and unique and I am looking forward to picking up this book so I can read the rest of it! The cover is also very stunning and definitely drew my attention to this book.
