This was an exciting thriller full of twists and turns that kept me flipping the pages until the very end. Told through court transcripts; evidence, and two women’s perspectives - Amanda who was murdered and Lizzie the attorney Amanda’s husband Zach gets to defend him. There’s more than meets the eye to these people in their perfect looking suburb. The more Lizzie learns the more questions she has to ask. Past and present converge as secrets are discovered and exploited. And sprinkled between her investigation are the issues in her own marriage that threaten the life she’s built. I saw some of the twists going but a couple caught me off guard. I highly recommend this legal suspenseful thriller.
