This was the first book I've read from this author, although I'm now going to make sure she's on my TBR list.

I enjoy books with alternating narrators, especially when they also take place in different time lines. The author kept the plot moving while still providing backstories for each woman. You could tell she had specific voices and stories in mind while she was writing.

As with most of the domestic suspense fiction I've read recently, I didn't trust any of the characters and the author kept giving me new reasons to suspect different murderers. For "A Good Marriage" I needed to get one very specific clue before I put it all together.

**Not really a spoiler** I was a bit disappointed with the "sex party" attendee testimony chapters. In the end, I don't think they added anything to the narrative. Maybe they were just there to provide readers with additional suspects?
