I thought I had this book all figured out. I was disappointed, but proud because it was the first time I had ever figured out a mystery before the end. And then there was a twist, and I was no longer disappointed. I already want to reread this to identify all of the foreshadowing about who the killer is. This book is the epitome of “everyone is not as they seem.”
I love Kimberly McCreight and she did not disappoint in this amazing thriller! Her writing style was, again, fast paced and well-written. I will always pick up anything she writes, and this was no different. The character development is beautiful, the flashbacks are awesome, and the author makes you believe you are crazy at times for believing certain things. Highly recommend!!
