The two couples are hiding secrets from each other, with a husband accused of murder, did he or didn't he? Why did Zach contact Lizzie to be his lawyer in the first place after so much time has gone by, he could have retained someone with more experience and he certainly had the money.
What secrets are Lizzie and Sam hiding from each other? How did Amanda wind up murdered? Is Zach guilty? Is there something in the characters' past that led to this outcome?
It is going to be interesting to see which characters are the so-called good guy and/or bad guy.
I like the author's narrative going back and forth between the characters. I am expecting twists and turns all the way to end of this book with a surprise ending!
