4.5 stars! Really enjoyed this one and had a hard time putting it down. Kimberly McCreight knows how to write a good legal thriller. This book had many twists and turns throughout, making it hard for the reader to figure out the true story - which is how mysteries/thrillers should be! The main character was fairly likeable, although not many other characters were. I’d recommend this book for anyone interested in legal thrillers with a twist or fans of Kimberly McCreights other books. There are some adult themes in the book, so beware of that.
The ending felt rushed and there are some loose ends that never got explained, but overall I’m satisfied with the book.
I look forward to other books by Kimberly mccreight and she has become an auto-buy author for me. Now trying to find a book that compares to this one in the sub-genre may be difficult
